Insurance and Billing
As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill your primary and supplemental insurance. We accept many local health plans as well as workers compensation. Our staff is happy to guide you through the insurance process.
The Pain Management Specialists currently contract with the following insurance
companies:

- CENCAL Health (MediCal)
- Pacificare
- Preferred Pain Management
- Tricare
- United Health Care
We also contract with Sansum Clinic for the following insurance companies:
- Cigna
- Blue Cross
- Blue Shield
- Aetna HMO
- Pacificare
- Health Net
Please note that if you are a Sansum Clinic patient and you have an HMO, prior authorization will need to be obtained by your Primary Care Provider.
Auto Accidents:
In the case of insurance coverage for auto accidents, the insurance company
will settle with the patient not the physician. Accordingly, payment is required
at the time of the visit. Our office can provide you with the necessary information
to seek reimbursement from your auto or health insurance company.
